Google has signed an agreement with Goodman to purchase a land at Goodman Business Park in Greater Tokyo. Google plans to build its first data center in Japan.
Google aims to meet the growing needs of Google Japan’s customers such as Cloud with this investment in the country.
Goodman Business Park is located in a seismically stable inland region outside of flooding zones, in Chiba New Town.

”In addition, the presence of Google at Goodman Business Park is expected to bring a significant positive economic impact to Chiba New Town and Inzai City,” he added.
