Panattoni Netherlands, part of Panattoni Europe, has started the development of a logistics distribution center in Almere.

The new 23,423 m2 development consists of a 19,666 m2 hall, 2,161 m2 office and 1,596 m2 mezzanine. 22 loading docks and 5 overhead doors will be realized with 251 parking spaces on site. The distribution center is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2022 and it is available for lease. The set-up is flexible, so that partial rental is also possible from 4,479 m2. The new and ultra-modern distribution center will be built entirely according to the BREEAM Very Good standard.

The Almere distribution center will be located on the Stichtsekant business park, 30 kilometers from Amsterdam and Utrecht. In addition, 4 million people can be reached within a 30-minute drive. The location is ideal with the connections to the A27 and A6 / A1 at 2 and 8 kilometers respectively.

“We are happy that we can realize this new distribution center at this strategic and central location. This is our fifth project in the Netherlands, 12 months after Panattoni came to the Netherlands,” said Jeroen Gerritsen, General Manager Panattoni Nederland.

”The distribution center is ideal for companies that would like a representative modern facility in the heart of the Netherlands. To respond to the new online demand, we can easily divide the building into smaller units of approximately 4,500 for fine-mesh distribution. This allows us to offer flexible space from approximately 23,000 m2 to 4,500 m2 and everything in between.”
