M Core has completed the acquisition of The Northern Quarter (TNQ), a modern mixed-use estate in the London Borough of Brent, marking a strategic addition to its expanding UK portfolio.
The acquisition underlines M Core’s commitment to investing in vibrant, community-focused urban centres.
Situated at 50 Capitol Way, TNQ spans 4.29 acres and offers 64,000 sq. ft of premium commercial space. The estate is anchored by leading brands including Aldi, M&S Foodhall, Nando’s, Starbucks, and Anytime Fitness, creating a dynamic retail and leisure destination for the local community. Originally completed in 2021 and upgraded in 2023, TNQ reflects contemporary urban design and is well positioned to serve the evolving needs of Brent’s growing population.
The estate benefits from excellent connectivity, located at the junction of Capitol Way and Edgware Road (A5), with Colindale (Northern Line) and Queensbury (Jubilee Line) stations nearby. The surrounding catchment has seen over 15,000 new homes built in the past decade, with more than 77,000 residents within a one-mile radius, supporting sustained footfall and long-term growth potential.
James Buchanan, Group Managing Director at LCP UK, part of M Core, commented:
“The Northern Quarter is a stand-out investment, a rare, modern, mixed-use property in one of London’s fastest-growing suburbs. Its strong community relevance and location in an area of natural growth make it a compelling long-term hold for us. We’re proud to welcome TNQ into the portfolio.”
The asset will be managed by Charlie Sankey, Asset Manager at LCP. The transaction was completed with legal support from Catharine Gunz and Emma Hands of Osborne Clarke, while Jonathan Heptonstall of JLL advised on behalf of Sheet Anchor, part of M Core.
This acquisition further strengthens M Core’s presence in the UK and aligns with its pan-European strategy of disciplined investment and active asset management.
