Deka Immobilien has acquired an office property in Melbourne, Australia, from Dexus, Australian real estate group, for €280 million.
The high-rise 452 Flinders Street office property in Melbourne was built in 1994 and comprises a lettable area of more than 38,000 square meters, 276 bicycle parking spaces and high-quality end-of-trip facilities, which represent regeneration areas for tenants and general areas for showers, bicycle repairs, etc.
It is rented long-term and in full to 16 users. The main tenant is the Jacobs Group. The property is located in the western central business district and has very good transport links.
It is certified with four NABERS stars. The NABERS rating system for energy efficiency and environmental impact was created in Australia in 1999 for the uniform assessment of buildings. The best possible rating is six stars.
