Carolin Vormann named head of institutional business at KGAL

Germany-based independent investment and asset manager KGAL has appointed Carolin Vormann as Head of Institutional Business.

As Head of Institutional Business, Carolin Vormann has been spearheading global sales activities and strategic product development for KGAL’s institutional investor business since 15 July 2024.

Florian Martin, Co-CEO of KGAL and Head of Sales, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Carolin to our senior management team as an experienced executive with outstanding contacts among our target clients in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland). With her extensive expertise in institutional sales, we will take an important strategic step towards enhancing our focus on the needs of our institutional clients”.

Carolin Vormann joins KGAL from HSBC, where she served as Managing Director, Global Relationship Banker Insurance in HSBC’s capital markets business in the DACH region. Prior to her time at HSBC, she was Head of NBFI (non-bank financial intermediation) at Commerzbank, where she successfully headed up the insurance and pension fund teams. Carolin began her career in the insurance industry in Hanover having completed her professional training in insurance and passing two state examinations in law.
