CA Immo, controls property assets of around € 4,5 bn in Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe, has signed a lease with the global coworking provider Spaces for the ONE office and hotel tower currently under construction in Frankfurt.
Spaces will rent around 6,880 m² of office space spread over five floors at ONE, which offers more than 43,000 m² of office space in total. Completion of the building is scheduled for early 2022, with CA Immo’s total investment in the 190-metre-high tower amounting to around EUR 350 million. Consulting firm Blackolive advised the tenant on the arrangement of the lease.
“The signing of the lease with Spaces marks the next conceptual milestone for ONE. Users and their needs are the main focus here: communication, exchange, urbanity and a wide range of services are the leitmotifs of our development, hence we are not just uniting several public and private uses under one roof, but dovetailing them with one other.” said Michael J. The pay-per-use concept of Spaces addresses primarily innovative entrepreneurs and companies that do not want to spend time organising office space but are seeking attractive, design- and communication-focused workplaces for themselves or their employees.”
The concept of ONE, with its total rental area of 66,300 m², provides for a mix of hotel, office, coworking and public uses such as a café in the lobby and a sky bar on the top floor of the building.
