British Land has appointed Amanda Mackenzie as a Non-Executive Director, with effect from 1 September 2023.
Mackenzie will join the Remuneration and ESG Committees upon appointment.
Amanda Mackenzie is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Lloyds Banking Group plc where she is Chair of the Responsible Business Committee and a member of the Remuneration Committee and Nomination and Governance Committee.
Mackenzie was Chief Executive of Business in the Community which promotes responsible business and corporate responsibility. Prior to that role, she was a member of Aviva’s Group Executive for 7 years as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and was seconded to help launch the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals. She is also a former Director of British Airways AirMiles, BT, Hewlett Packard Inc and British Gas.

Her deep marketing expertise, coupled with her track record in sustainability and corporate responsibility will complement the skillset of our Directors as we progress our ambitious corporate and sustainability strategy.”
