Workspace hires Leo Shapland as head of portfolio management

Workspace Group has appinted Leo Shapland as its new Head of Portfolio Management and member of the Executive Committee, effective from 21st March 2022.

Shapland joins Workspace from Aviva Investors, where he was Head of Real Estate Asset Management, responsible for financial performance and strategy of the UK portfolio and real estate business.

Shapland previously spent nearly ten years at Tishman Speyer, holding a number of roles in leasing, asset management, acquisitions and development in the firm’s London, San Francisco and Seattle offices. Prior to that he was an investment associate at Multiplex / Brookfield.
