Redevco has announced the launch of its inaugural Redevco European Retail Parks (RERP) Fund, a closed-end investment vehicle targeting high-quality, convenience-led retail parks across Europe and the UK.
The fund has secured €500 million in equity commitments from CBRE Investment Management’s Indirect Real Estate Strategies, acting on behalf of global institutional clients, alongside a significant co-investment by Redevco.
The strategy focuses on multi-let retail park assets in strong catchment areas, aiming to deliver resilient income and long-term value through active asset management and a sustainability-led approach.
At launch, the fund has closed €200 million in initial investments in the UK and Belgium, with a further €200 million in exclusivity across other target markets, including Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, and the Netherlands.
Neil Slater, CEO of Redevco, said: “The launch of the RERP Fund represents a major milestone for Redevco. With our expertise in managing high-quality retail parks and trusted relationships with tenants, we are well-positioned to create long-term value for investors and communities across Europe.”
Sasha Silver, Head of Global Client Group at Redevco, added: “This fund offers investors a timely opportunity to access a resilient and high-yielding segment of the retail market. Partnering with CBRE IM, we are able to extend our platform to external institutional capital while driving sustainable urban retail growth.”
Philippe Brand, Senior Director at CBRE IM Indirect Strategies, said: “We are excited to back Redevco’s retail parks strategy, which aligns with our conviction in essential retail and sustainability. After careful sector valuation adjustments, the timing is ideal to re-enter retail park investment, delivering attractive long-term outcomes for our clients.”
Redevco currently manages approximately €5.5 billion in retail parks across Europe and has over two decades of experience as a specialist manager in this asset class.
