Madison International appoints new head of European investments

Madison International Realty has appointed Alex Lukesch as Head of European Investments.

Lukesch joined Madison in 2008, was named Managing Director in 2019, and will continue to be based in Madison’s London office.

Madison International Realty specializes in providing liquidity solutions to existing real estate investors, as well as acquiring partial ownership stakes and joint venture interests in existing properties and portfolios in major markets in the US, UK and Western Europe across all sectors.

“I‘m delighted to announce the appointment of Alex Lukesch as the Head of European Investments at Madison. Alex has been with Madison for 14 years and has been instrumental in growing our platform in the UK and Europe over that period, as well as solidifying Madison’s relationships with top sponsors in these markets.  He has navigated markets over a challenging 24-month period to help us source and invest in what we believe are best in class opportunities, across multiple sectors,” said Ronald Dickerman, Madison International Realty Founder and President.

“Madison believes the industry is on the cusp of a significant change: the post pandemic re-evaluation of real estate assets such as multi-family, industrial, life and health sciences, which are in undersupply with high demand while the markets gyrate again over events in Ukraine that are impacting so many other variables.  Madison has been extremely active over the Covid period as a liquidity solutions provider and we expect this positioning to continue unabated.  We are so pleased to recognize Alex with this new responsibility,” Dickerman said.
