Logos, Pure DC establish APAC hyperscale data center partnership

Asia Pacific logistics real estate developer Logos and Pure Data Centres (Pure DC), the global data centre developer and operator, have established a new partnership to develop sustainable hyperscale data centers across the Asia-Pacific region.

Logos Managing Director & Co-CEO, Trent Iliffe said: “Our existing partnership with Pure DC has evolved to accommodate Logos’ new approach to developing and investing into fully fitted out data centers. The combination of Logos’ real estate portfolio and in-country development resources with Pure DC’s technical and operational expertise allows us to meet any customer need.”

”Logos’ presence in 10 operating markets across APAC offers global and localized resources covering the entire real estate life cycle, coupled with certainty over new land acquisitions in supply constrained markets. Pure DC brings an established data center platform and a robust customer network as it services the industry’s most complex technical requirements,” said the companies in a joint statement.

The partnership is committed to delivering carbon neutral facilities, using renewable power and minimizing water usage on all their projects.

The companies expect that projects developed under this arrangement will help facilitate the rollout of new large-scale renewable power infrastructure in underserved markets.

Logos’ Head of Infrastructure, Frederic Devos said: “There is an acute undersupply of mission critical data center infrastructure in Asia-Pacific and we are pleased to partner with Pure DC to increase the availability of these essential assets. Both Pure DC and Logos are committed to deliver best-in-class sustainability metrics while improving the capital efficiency of this sector across the region.”

Pure DC’s Chief Executive, Martin Lynch said: “We are delighted to expand our already successful relationship with Logos, who share our desire to be at the forefront of innovation and sustainability. This partnership will enable us to deliver the large-scale sustainable data centres customers demand, across the 10 geographies where Logos operates and holds assets. Combining this asset base with our excellent technical and operational know-how provides a greatly simplified and repeatable delivery solution for the world’s leading technology companies as they seek to expand in multiple geographies across the region.”
