Knight Frank bolsters UK occupier advisory team with senior appointments

Knight Frank has strengthened its UK-wide occupier advisory offer with a series of senior promotions and new appointments within the integrated UK Occupier Strategy & Solutions team.

Richard Proctor, Partner at Knight Frank, has been appointed Head of UK Occupier Strategy & Solutions, bringing together the firm’s existing occupier-facing services, including Business Rates, Data Centres, Flexible Office Solutions, Tenant Representation, Project Management, Workplace and Strategic Consultancy, across its UK network.

With over 27 years of tenant representation and office agency experience, Richard remains Head of London Tenant Representation; however, his expanded role will see him focus on the team’s growth across the UK, collaborating with the firm’s eleven commercial offices outside of London. Richard will be supported in his UK role by Julian Woolgar, who brings 28 years of tenant representation and office agency experience and 18 years at Knight Frank to the UK team.

Amanda Lim, Partner and UK Head of Flexible Offices, will be rolling out Knight Frank’s successful Flexible Office Solutions London business across the UK, offering occupiers alternative solutions to conventional office space with a focus on the firm’s ten city locations beyond London.

Amanda will continue her collaboration with James Nicholson, Partner, who has been promoted to Head of Operations for UK Occupier Strategy & Solutions. James will continue to expand and enhance Knight Frank’s occupier digital platform and co-ordinate the growth of existing occupier relationships across the UK. James is also a member of Knight Frank’s Technology Board, which is committed to developing systems that enhance the client experience across its UK Occupier Strategy & Solutions business.

The London Tenant Representation team has also made two Partner appointments. Sean Fraser, previously an Associate Director at CBRE in Hong Kong, where he specialised in transaction management for office occupiers across the Asia Pacific region, has re-joined Knight Frank, having worked at the firm’s Sydney office for four years between 2017-2021 in its tenant representation team. Inesha Holt joined Knight Frank in late 2022, bringing over 15 years’ business development experience in workplace solutions, including most recently at Woodhouse Workspace, where she was a Business Development Director.

Richard Proctor, Head of UK Occupier Strategy & Solutions at Knight Frank, said: “We are bringing together our experienced occupier advisory teams from across the UK to offer our clients truly integrated solutions, from forward-looking strategic and workplace consultancy, in what is an ever changing occupier world, to business critical energy and sustainability consultancy for all our clients, whether they be Automotive, Data Centre, Office, Industrial, Life Sciences, Leisure or Retail occupiers. In addition, Dr Lee Elliott and his Occupier Research team will continue to deliver (Y)OUR SPACE – our flagship report, delivering data-led insights on the future direction of travel for our occupier clients. Our UK team, coupled with this market leading research, will enable our clients to better understand and manage the growing complexity of work, workplace, real estate portfolios and underlying business strategy.”

“I am extremely proud of the expert team and capability we have built across multiple industries and specialist disciplines, supporting and advising not only UK and international businesses, but also some of the UK’s most exciting start-up and scale-up businesses. I look forward to further strengthening our capabilities and growing our occupier business yet further in response to our clients’ needs at this exciting but challenging point in time for UK occupiers.”
