Aviva Investors has expanded its European real estate team, with the appointment of Kasia Tissot as fund manager.
Kasia Tissot joins Aviva Investors with more than 10 years of experience in real estate investment and having previously been a Senior Investment Manager at Ofi Invest Real Estate, where she worked for five years.
Tissot has also held positions at BNP Paribas Real Estate and Generali Real Estate where she started her career.
Based in Paris and reporting to George Fraser-Harding, Head of Pan-European Funds, Real Estate, Kasia’s appointment is the latest in a series of hires to build out Aviva Investors’ European Real Estate capabilities, as the business continues to grow its real estate platform across the continent.
Last month, the firm announced its first real estate transaction in the Swedish market, acquiring a brand-new warehouse and production facility in Helsingborg, one of the country’s top-ranked logistics hubs.
George Fraser-Harding, Head of Pan-European Funds, Real Estate, at Aviva Investors, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Kasia to Aviva Investors at a time when our European real estate strategy continues to grow. Kasia’s experience in managing cross-border investments will be incredibly important, particularly as we continue to expand our portfolio into new regions where we see a great deal of growth potential and investment opportunities we believe can be additive in delivering long-term outcomes for investors.”
