IPSX Group (International Property Securities Exchange) has appointed Sir Brian Ivory, previously the Senior Independent Director of IPSX, as chairman, succeeding founder Chairman Anthony Gahan who is now appointed Deputy Chair.
Formerly the Group CEO and subsequent Chairman of Highland Distillers PLC, Ivory has worked in many public and private sector roles within major UK and Continental European financial services groups and consumer products groups.
He is currently Chairman of Marathon Asset Management and of Arcus European Infrastructure Fund and is also on the board of Insight Investment Management Ltd.
Anthony Gahan, Founder and Deputy Chairman of IPSX said “I have been privileged to lay the foundations for this ground-breaking market and am pleased to be passing the position of Chairman to Sir Brian as we work towards welcoming the first issuers to the exchange.”
