Invesco Real Estate (Invesco) announced that it has appointed Anna Duchnowska as head of European Asset Management.
Duchnowska joined Invesco in 2014 to open the firm’s office in Warsaw and to oversee the asset management of all investments in Poland. As a senior member of the team with over 20 years’ experience, Duchnowska has played an integral role in identifying initiatives to deliver performance both within the Polish market and increasingly key strategic assets across Europe.
Duchnowska replaces Etienne Dupuy who is leaving the firm at the end of September to pursue personal projects within Impact Investing
“We take a thoughtful approach to succession planning. Our team-based approach and focus on managing talent over the long term helps us provide meaningful opportunities within our business and enables us to transition effectively to the next generation of leadership. Anna’s depth of experience and knowledge coupled with her excellent relationships with some of our key tenants and other stakeholders made her the ideal candidate for the role and provides continuity and reassurance to our clients. I am looking forward to working more closely with Anna as we continue to develop and evolve our asset management business strategy for the benefit of all our clients,” says Andy Rofe, Managing Director, Head of Europe at Invesco Real Estate.
“I am excited to step into this important role within the firm and work more closely with the 28 asset managers across eight countries to drive forward our asset strategies as well as other initiatives important to the firm’s strategic footprint across Europe,” says Duchnowska.
