Hines has appointed Alexandra Gumuchian and Mickey Scott as asset managers in its UK team for its student accommodation and industrial and logistics portfolios management.
Alexandra Gumuchian who will be responsible for managing Hines UK’s 11 student housing assets in the UK and Ireland, joins Hines UK from iQ Student Accommodation.
She worked as an investment associate in iQ Student Accommodation, and also has five years of experience working at Savills. In her new role, Alexandra will be working alongside Jurrien de Koning, who is spearheading the growth of Hines’s student accommodation portfolio.
Mickey Scott joins the firm as an asset manager in the Industrial and Logistics team. He will be responsible for managing the portfolio of Hines UK logistics assets, both within its joint venture portfolio with Chancerygate and those managed on behalf of the firm’s discretionary funds.

Mickey joins Hines UK following over five years of experience working across property funding, logistics and office assets at Tesco. Working alongside Greg Cooper, who is fronting the expansion of the portfolio, Mickey’s experience with the retailer will drive forward the team’s client focus.

The UK Hines team is currently active in the office, retail, student housing and logistics sectors, managing a combined UK property portfolio worth more than £2bn and located in London and key regional cities.
