ECE to invest €65m in first Italian residential project

ECE said it would develop its first residential project in Rome, Italy.

Together with local partners, ECE Work & Live will develop a residential complex with a total of about 160 apartments in six buildings on an area of about 45,000 m² in the west of the Italian capital.

The investment volume amounts to more than 65 million euros. Construction is scheduled to start in 2024, completion in 2026.

“With this residential project in Rome, we are continuing to expand our investments in the development of international projects as planned,” says Henrie W. Kötter, CEO of ECE Work & Live.

“Especially in the current environment, we are focusing on high-opportunity projects in dynamic metropolitan areas in Europe, where modern housing remains in demand, and on developing an attractive product with modern design, efficient floor plans and a clear focus on user comfort and sustainability.”

The residential complex is located in a quiet and green surrounding and has excellent infrastructure links offering public transport, schools, university and stores for everyday needs in the immediate vicinity. The city center can be reached in about 15 minutes, and the Mediterranean Sea in about 25 minutes.
