Derwent London announces appointments to its executive committee

London-focused real estate investment trust Derwent London has announced three internal appointments to the group’s executive committee.

Head of sustainability John Davies, head of asset management Vasiliki Arvaniti and head of property management Victoria Steventon will join the company’s executive committee.

“The promotions are well deserved and enhance an already strong executive committee. Each leads an important team focused on sustainability and support for our occupiers, both priority areas where we have increased our commitment in recent years. Together they ensure the highest levels of service, as we and our customers work towards becoming net zero carbon businesses,” said Paul Williams, Chief Executive of Derwent London.

”Throughout John’s time at Derwent London, he has helped the Group shape and formulate its Net Zero Carbon Pathway by 2030 which was published in 2020, making us the first UK REIT to do so,” said the company in a statement. ”John and his team have also been responsible for developing and implementing the Group’s broader sustainability framework, embedding it across the business and collaborating with our occupiers.”

Derwent London said Vasiliki Arvaniti and her team are responsible for ensuring strong tenant engagement to deliver high retention and maintain low vacancy. ”The asset management team has worked proactively to support the evolving needs of our occupiers, leading to stronger and deeper relationships with our stakeholders.”

”Under Victoria Steventon’s leadership, the property management team is responsible for looking after the c.500 occupiers across our portfolio on a day-to-day basis. As well as working to ensure an enhanced customer experience and delivering a number of Covid-linked initiatives, she has worked closely with our Sustainability team and our occupiers to improve portfolio data capture,” said the company.
