Deka Immobilien has purchased the Cubes office building in Düsseldorf from Axa IM Alts, on behalf of the open-ended real estate fund Deka-ImmobilienEuropa.
The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
The Cubes property at Cecilienallee 6-7, which was completed in 2012, has a lettable area of almost 15,000 square meters and 225 parking spaces. The three staggered cubes are rented long-term and in full to two users. The main tenant is the business and tax consultancy firm Baker Tilly.
The high-quality office building is located in the Düsseldorf-Golzheim district on the edge of the Kennedydamm submarket near the Rhine.
This mixed-use submarket with excellent transport connections has developed into one of the most popular locations in Düsseldorf in recent years. Cubes is certified with the DGNB silver seal of approval for sustainable building.
