Deka Immobilien buys London office building for £118m

Deka Immobilien has purchased an office building in London from Evans Randall Investors for GBP 118 million (approx. EUR 135 million) on behalf of Deka-ImmobilienMetropolen open-ended real estate fund.

Bureau, 90 Fetter Lane, is a new office building in London with a lettable area of ​​more than 6,900 square meters and 130 bicycle parking spaces. It is rented long-term and almost completely to four users. The main tenant is Anheuser-Busch InBev UK, the largest brewery group in the world. 

The property, which was built in 1980, was extensively modernized in 2018 and was certified with the British BREEAM seal of approval for sustainable building with “Excellent”. 

It is located in London’s established Midtown office submarket, one of the most attractive office locations in London, as a wide range of companies from a wide variety of industries have settled there. In the immediate vicinity of the property is Farringdon, which has an excellent infrastructure and is one of the most diverse and flourishing districts of London.
