CBRE GI appoints new portfolio manager for EMEA flagship fund

CBRE Global Investors has appointed Jeroen de Grunt as the new Portfolio Manager for the CBRE Pan-European Core Fund (PEC).  Jeroen will be responsible for the overall portfolio and transactions management for PEC.  Jeroen will report to PEC Fund Manager Richard Everett.

Jeroen joined CBRE Global Investors in 2014 as Senior Portfolio Director, Separate Accounts Continental Europe EMEA. He was responsible for the portfolio strategy and the execution of the investment and asset management strategies for one of the firm’s largest account client.

Prior to CBRE Global Investors Jeroen worked for Bouwinvest Real Estate Investment Management as Senior Portfolio Manager Asia/Europe and was responsible for the indirect portfolio of a Dutch pension fund in Asia Pacific as well as part of their European portfolio. He has also worked at KPMG Corporate Finance, responsible for the Real Estate division.

The Pan-European Core Fund was launched in January 2010 and is an open-ended core fund designed to invest in and optimise stable income from institutional quality real estate assets in Continental Europe and the UK.

Jeroen works in the Schiphol office and succeeds Natali Cooper, who left the company earlier this year.
