CBRE acquires project management company in Australia

CBRE Group, Inc. has acquired Montlaur Project Services Pty Ltd, a project management company in Australia.

Montlaur is active across a wide range of industry sectors including commercial, government, education, industrial, health and aged care, residential, retail and hospitality.

Since its founding in 1988, Australian project management company has delivered more than 2.5 million square metres of projects valued at more than AU$4.0 billion for clients such as Transurban, SEEK, Energy Australia and the Victorian Government.

“The quality of Montlaur’s people and their trusted client relationships will enhance our project management platform and capabilities, particularly in the Victorian market, where Montlaur has been a clear market leader,” said Phil Rowland CBRE Pacific CEO.

Montlaur Directors Brian Miller and Richard Hume will lead the combined Project Management operations in Victoria, reporting to Scott Jackman, Managing Director of CBRE’s Pacific Project Management business. Montlaur’s Leon Lachal will take on a new role as National Director, Project Management.
