CBRE acquires construction management firm in Los Angeles

CBRE has acquired Beezley Management (Beezley), a construction management and project advisory services firm based in the Los Angeles area.

Founded in 1997, Beezley has 25 employees based in Calabasas, California, and the firm’s expertise spans all areas of project management, including construction management, architecture and engineering, facilities operations and maintenance, and planning and development.

“This acquisition further strengthens our project consulting and management expertise and capabilities in Southern California,” said Sean Conry, Senior Managing Director of project management for CBRE. “Beezley’s reputation and experience as an owner’s representative, and their strong leadership team, are a great complement to our existing project management capabilities. We are particularly excited about Beezley’s ability to deepen our relationships in the greater Los Angeles market – a core strategic market for both our project management business and CBRE as a whole.”

Jonathan Levy, Beezley’s principal and founder, will take on a senior leadership role with CBRE’s project management business in the Pacific Southwest.Beezley’s professionals willjoin CBRE’s project management team and will collaborate closely with the firm’slocal market advisory project management teamsacross the U.S. and its professionals who execute account-based project management programs through its occupier outsourcing business, Global Workplace Solutions.
