Catella APAM, Trinity acquire data centre business

Catella APAM, a real estate investment and asset manager and Trinity House Investments, a Singapore-based private equity investment management firm, have acquired Optimum Data Centres’ data centre business and will operate the Hayes Data Centre, which they acquired in 2019, directly through their new platform, Trinity Data Centres.

Trinity Data Centres has retained the key staff to ensure a seamless transition for clients, partners and suppliers. The acquisition will facilitate significant investment planned for the Hayes complex through a multi-stage refurbishment plan.

“We are delighted about the Trinity DC acquisition,” said Simon Cooke, APAM Founder and Director. “Since acquisition of the Freehold we have been looking to build an operational business to allow us to roll out our refurbishment plans and lease-up the vacant technical space in what is one of the few vibrant and growing sectors. The Trinity DC team is looking forward to enabling the Trinity London data centre to realise its full potential and is seeking further opportunities to build on this platform.”
