CapMan forward funds two residential projects in Stockholm

CapMan Real Estate has acquired two multifamily residential development projects in the Stockholm region from Swedish residential developer Reliwe, further expanding its housing portfolio in the Nordic market.

The projects, located in Barkarby and Flemingsberg, will be forward funded by CapMan and together comprise 478 apartments, 10 commercial units, and 154 parking spaces.

Both sites were selected for their strong micro-locations and access to public transport infrastructure, providing residents with efficient commuting options. The developments are situated within 25 minutes of central Stockholm by public transport, with access to established amenities and growing residential districts.

The projects aim to meet high sustainability standards, including alignment with the EU Taxonomy.

Planned sustainability features include solar panels, electric vehicle charging stations, and shared mobility solutions, such as communal car and bicycle pools.

The transaction is expected to close in March 2026, with construction scheduled to begin shortly thereafter.

The Barkarby project will be constructed by Consto, with completion expected in Q4 2028. The Flemingsberg development will be delivered by Hansson Hus Entreprenad, with completion anticipated in Q2 2028.

CapMan has significantly expanded its residential presence in Sweden in recent years. The firm now holds a portfolio of around 2,000 multifamily apartments in the Stockholm region, including completed properties and developments under construction.

CapMan Real Estate manages approximately €5.5 billion in real estate assets, supported by a team of more than 90 professionals across Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo, and London.
