British Land announced that Chief Financial Officer Bhavesh Mistry will step down from his role as CFO and Executive Director to join Kingfisher plc as its new CFO.
Mistry will remain in his current role while a replacement is found and to ensure an effective transition of his responsibilities. He has a 12 month notice period and a date for his departure will be agreed.
Prior to joining British Land, Mistry was Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Tesco PLC.
A search for a new CFO is underway and a further announcement will be made in due course, said British Land.
