Arrow Capital Partners, a private real estate company, has acquired two new assets in Rotterdam in the Netherlands for its €3bn Strategic Industrial Real Estate (SIRE) platform.

The first property is at Albert Plesmanweg. Providing 6,327 sqm of industrial and logistics space, the asset is located in the Waalhaven area and is directly next to the port and the city. It is fully occupied by ABB, a listed global technology company.

The second property is at the corner of the Hongkongstraat and the Pittsburghstraat. It provides 6,568 sqm of office and logistics space and is located at the Rotterdam-Noordwest Business Park. It is fully occupied by the multinational carrier Transicold’s European Headquarters and Hyundai’s European Logistics Centre.

“The acquisitions of two high quality light industrial properties are part of SIRE’s continued investment in industrial and logistics assets which are benefiting from the lack of available suitable warehouse space and the rapid growth of occupier demand,” said Martien van Deursen, Head of Benelux at Arrow.

”We are further accelerating our deployment of capital in the Benelux and Europe as a whole, with a strong pipeline of opportunities already in place. Our current portfolio and pipeline in the Netherlands now comprise more than €150m in assets including developments, while more acquisitions will be announced shortly as we continue to build our portfolio and platform. We are also increasingly looking at larger assets to invest in and are targeting investing over €500m in the Benelux over the next three years, including assets with income, vacancy or refurbishment potential and developments.”
