Global financial services provider Apex Group Ltd. (Apex) has appointed Barry Hindmarch as Head of Real Estate, UK & Ireland and Channel Islands for its real estate fund services business.
Barry Hindmarch will lead the development of Apex’s real estate fund services business in the region, including the growth and management of real estate client relationships.
Hindmarch was previously at Blackrock, where he was a director with responsibility for managing the finance team reporting on various open and closed-ended EMEA Real Estate Funds (including the flagship £3.4bn UK property fund).
Prior to this, Hindmarch spent five years at AXA Real Estate holding positions including Global Head of Fund Accounting and UK Head of AXA & Mandates Accounting. Over the course of his career, he has also held fund accounting roles at Patrizia AG (formerly Rockspring Property Investment Managers LLP), Aberdeen Property Investment Managers (formerly Barclays Property Investors) and Lazard Brothers Merchant Bank.
