Antirion has purchased HQ2, the headquarters of Pirelli Tire, located in the Bicocca area of Milan, overlooking via Piero and Alberto Pirelli. The purchase price was not disclosed.
Designed by Vittorio Gregotti and inaugurated in 2005, the building is characterized by large windows and occupies 5 floors above ground and two underground floors, for a total area of over 15,000 square meters.
Antirion said HQ2 has an excellent environmental profile and has obtained BREEAM In Use certification reaching the “Very Good” level for Part 1 – Asset Performance.
“HQ2 is a building that was ahead of its time as regards the energy and environmental performance profile and represents for us a significant asset within the Fund which is characterized by unique, highly sustainable buildings, occupied by tenants of excellent reputation,” commented Ofer Arbib, CEO of Antirion SGR .
The asset was acquired by Savills IM and will enter the portfolio of the Antirion Global Fund Core Fund, which has the Enpam Foundation as its reference shareholder.
