Canary Wharf Group appoints new CFO

Canary Wharf Group has appointed Rebecca (Becky) Worthington as its next Chief Financial Officer(CFO). She will succeed Russell Lyons who retires as CFO in 2021.

Becky Worthington is currently Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of iQ Student Accommodation. Previously, between 2015 and 2019, Becky was CFO and then Group Chief Operating Officer at Countryside Properties, listing the business on the LSE in 2016.

Prior to that, Becky Worthington spent 15 years at Quintain Estates and Development, first as Finance Director and latterly as Deputy Chief Executive; and was Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Lodestone Capital Partners.

Becky qualified as a chartered accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and has over 20 years of experience in finance with extensive knowledge of the real estate market. Becky will join CWG in May 2021. She will succeed Russell Lyons who retires as CFO in 2021.
