Real I.S. acquires office building in Ingolstadt, Germany

Real I.S. has acquired an office building in Ingolstadt, Germany for its real estate fund, Real I.S. SCF I.

The property was completed in May 2020 and has a total rental area of around 9,700 square metres. The seller is a developer, and the parties agreed not to disclose the price paid.

The fully let office building in Ingolstadt comprises six floors above ground and a total of 318 parking spaces in underground and multi-storey car parks. The main tenants in the building are Audi BKK, Sulzer GmbH and Audi AG.

”With the purchase of the new building, we are acquiring the third property for the special fund. Further purchases of office, retail, residential and logistics properties in southern Germany with good long-term leases are planned for the future in order to further diversify and expand the portfolio,” said Axel Schulz, Global Head of Investment Management at Real I.S. AG.

The property is located in an attractive business park in the south-west of Ingolstadt, which has a variety of office buildings and shops for daily needs and is also home to the new Audi campus with its technology park, and the FC Ingolstadt football stadium.
