NCC signs contract with PensionDanmark for new office building

PensionDanmark and NCC have signed a contract for the construction of a 13,000 square meter office building for approx. DKK 286 million.

In continuation of the future DFDS head office at Marmormolen in Copenhagen, PensionDanmark will build another office building

Construction will begin in the third quarter of 2021 and is expected to be completed in the summer of 2023.

“We look forward to getting started with the exciting construction, which has a fantastic location and some great architectural details,” said project director Ole Møller Petersen from NCC.

“The project is created through a very constructive collaboration between the client, consultants and NCC, which has resulted in a high-quality office building in terms of layout, choice of materials and considerations for sustainability and indoor climate,” he added.

The office building will have space for approx. 550 permanent workplaces, meeting center, canteen for approx. 240 people. In addition, there will be a parking basement, bicycle parking and premises for shops on the ground floor. 

“With the construction of the office building, we are completing the area by Marmormolen, which will encapsulate PensionDanmark’s ideals for real estate investments. We create a lively and attractive business area, located centrally and in beautiful surroundings and with sustainability as the common thread. It will be the framework for many fantastic jobs and a good investment for our members’ pension savings , ”said director Marius Møller, PensionDanmark.
