Link appoints Greg Chubb as International COO

Hong Kong-based Link Asset Management (Link), the manager of Link Real Estate Investment Trust (Link REIT), has appointed Greg Chubb as Chief Operating Officer – International.  

Chubb will lead and oversee the group’s asset management, leasing and corporate functions, as well as its operational setup in Australia, the United Kingdom (UK) and locations across Asia, excluding Mainland China and Hong Kong.

He will also work closely with the investment team to strengthen Link’s strategic and business presence in international markets as the group pursues its Vision 2025 strategy.

Chubb will join Link in April 2022, and will report to George Hongchoy, Link’s Chief Executive Officer.  

Greg Chubb joins Link from Charter Hall Group, where he is currently the Retail Chief Executive Officer and an executive director of Charter Hall Retail REIT, which is listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Prior to Charter Hall he held various leadership roles in Australia at Coles Supermarkets, Mirvac and Lend Lease, and was based in Hong Kong with Jones Lang LaSalle between 2009 and 2010.

Chubb holds a Bachelor of Business in Land Economy from Western Sydney University. He is the Joint Deputy Chairman of the Shopping Centre Council of Australia and a Fellow of Australian Property Institute.
