Real estate investor and manager, Cromwell Property Group (Cromwell) has appointed Matthew Bird as its Head of UK.
Matthew Bird has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate market. Prior to joining Cromwell Property Group, he held senior positions at Octane Capital,Legal & General Real Assets and Frogmore.

“His proven real estate experience includes managing teams and operating-partner relationships, devising strategy, as well as engaging with joint venture partners and investors across the world.”

Matthew Bird is also a Board Member of the Investment Property Forum (IPF), and Chair of the IPF Next Generation Group, which has 600 members from more than 100 organisations with a focus on innovation, thematics, research and networking.
Matthew Bird graduated with a First Class honours degree and received a Post Graduate Diploma in Surveying from the University of Reading.
